he shock pulse method is used but only as a part of more
general method of detection the shocks (oscillations) of high frequency
vibration power of any unit where the mechanical, hydrodynamical or
aerodynamical friction forces act. And as these oscillations in the defective
units not always have a large value but practically always are periodical
instead of detecting them in the time signal they are detected in the spectrum
of power oscillations (envelope spectrum) of their high frequency vibration.
