: : Does anyone ever take bearing vibration data with defects (either inner, outer race, rolling element or cage) in varying speed?
: : If anyone has this type of data, I would like to get it for academic research. Thank you.

: We measure the bearing defect data in varying speed but only if the speed variation does not exceed about 1% per each 10 revolutions of the bearing and 20% for 100 revolutions. It was a problem in paper and pulp mills. The method is used for portable computers with special boards for digital signal processing.
